Anyway, I'll be doing some fact-checking for not very much money in the Village next week. Would anyone like to go to dinner and/or let me sleep over for a few days? I will seriously pay you. (For sleeping over, not dinner.) I just don't want to have to get up at six in the morning for a full week. I also got a tiny check today from the Utne Reader, which reprinted something I had published last year in a magazine which shall remain nameless even though they are totally Commie pinko tree-hugging bastards. Which means that the Utne Reader was able to read it, republish it, and send me my check and my complimentary issue before the original publisher ever paid me for my work.

This is the first time I've listened to Make Believe straight through. It gets way modern toward the end, like John Shanks tripped and fell through a rip in the space-time continuum, and ended up producing this song when he was five years old.

well there is always here (like you even have to ask). the only thing is that we already promised the computer room to [info]pene and [info]unwinding, but i can't remember for which days. (hah!) of course, there's always room in my room - though stella takes up a lot of room. but i'm sure we could accommodate you somehow!!

(and EAT MEAT! except on friday. today is friday. there go my plans for chicken fried rice. DAMN.)

Aw, yay! Well, the job starts Wednesday and lasts until some point next week, so basically...let me know how long it would be before you got tired of me, and we can work out which nights I will stay from there. Also, I am going to be in the city on Tuesday afternoon anyway, because the unemployment people are making me go to a career center, so we could totally do meat that night!

I wouldn't mind sleeping in your room. I love dogs, and we can make fun of Julie some more.

well, george and jo are here tuesday, wednesday and thursday. but you're welcome to share the room with me and stella. (i promise to try to keep my sleep problems to a minimum!) and there's always the couch if you want to sleep out in the other room. because i loooove my couch. hee.

so yeah! just tell me when you'll be here. and it will be awesome.

Man, I am so looking forward to eating something that once had a face.

totally works for me, but you might want to check with the other half of schl house rocks! (being hope or laura, i control catherine, hah!) but i'm figuring one more guest won't make that much of a difference. we all have crazy schedules anyway . . . huh. perhaps we should look into keys. maybe we have keys.

in re sleeping arrangements at schl house rocks!: we totally have a cot, as well as the big ass sofa in the living room, so there's totally more than enough room for you, even with our other (totally awesome) guests!
