ru caught in red tape? mishmash
1. Fun with computer illiteracy! The other day this girl comes up to the desk at the lab, and wants to know where her paper printed out. I guess she missed the six pop-ups telling her where her paper printed out. So we're like, "Where's your computer?" And she's like, "In the big room." And we're like, "Okay, in the first PC section, the Mac section, or the second PC section?" And she's like, "Um...with the flatscreens...past the white computers." And we're like, "..."
2. British Garry Shandling returns! With two of his beautiful fingers broken. :( It was really sad because he could barely write on the blackboard, and I'm sitting there (next to Kid With A Stick Up His Ass, mind you, who is constantly sighing and grunting in boredom because apparently if he's not talking then no one should be talking) thinking, "Maybe I should offer to write on the blackboard for him." And at that very moment, British Garry Shandling turns around and says, "Does anyone want to write on the blackboard for me?" Silence. British Garry Shandling: "No one. Hm. All right then." Silence. Me: "*raising hand* Wait, I will." British Garry Shandling: "*turning to stare at me for a moment* Oh. Well...well, nevermind, I've got it anyway." Oh, British Garry Shandling doesn't want my help! I see how it is! That's fine! I respect that! I'll just go home and...take care of my children. Preferably fathered by British Garry Shandling. *w hands* On the bright side, I was sitting in the front again, and I was looking pretty today, and he made bunches of eye contact. So it's all good. Next time I'll sit with the other girl who has a crush on him, and we can double-team him with our cuteness once more.
3. I'm wearing my new brown flats and my cropped jeans. Take that, Sarah Jessica Parker.
4. I think I saw Sab today. I'm not sure because she was so fat (I mean SO FAT), but she had the same terrible profile (see, Pixie, profiles matter), the same natty hair, and the same ugly-ass shoes and sweatpants. So, if it was her, OMG SAB IS SO FAT HAHAHAHA!
5. Everyone go to the Co-Op Bookstore and give a big hug to Ed. Ed's the best!
